The drama-llama and the emo emu have legit taken up residence in my break and have make this vacation pretty much suck. I thank God for my grandma being so understanding, my little sister being so badass, and the few friends I have left on this island stepping up to try and make this break better for me.

CHICAGO, I MISS YOU.

Six days.

Are there any political issues, such as abortion or capital punishment, that are so fundamental to your core values that you could not respect and/or trust someone who held a contrary view?

I think that the best way to explain this would be to cite my four deal-breakers when it comes to relationships:

1- Atheism
2- Homophobia
3- Lying/Cheating
4- Racist

I'm very set on my opinions and, while I can respect different opinions, I wouldn't date/marry someone who differed in core principles because it would be a huge issue when raising children. Plus whenever someone says, "It's my body, I do what I want!" in the abortion issue, I take it very personally because I was almost aborted and so it hits pretty damn close to home.

...does that make me intolerant?

ETA: My deal-breakers are in alphabetical order now, ahaha.

I will be getting to y'all's comments soon, but before I run out the door I HAD to post this, late as it is. Just replace 'Santa' for 'Three Wise Men' and it works. Anyway, I had to post this because buying porn for [info]antumbral has to be my favorite thing ever, ahaha.

Dear Santa...

Dear Santa,

This year I've been busy!

In January I saved a busload of nuns in Angola (326 points). Last week I didn't flush (-1 points). In March I gave [info]angelsrosesx a kidney (1000 points). Last month on a flight to Bangladesh, I stole the emergency flight information card (-40 points). Last Sunday I bought porn for [info]antumbral (10 points).

Overall, I've been nice (1295 points). For Christmas I deserve an XBox 360!

Sincerely,
alaszyel

Happy New Year, guys--catch you in 2010!

P.S. Sent the boy I like a message confessing how I feel. Stupidest idea ever, probably, but at least the suspense will be over once he replies. Good luck to me?

ETA: I totally forgot that I didn't renew my paid account (it's broketown over here, y'all) and so lost all my pretty icons, but I'm sooo glad all three of my Tazer ones are still around!

So I'm going to enjoy the new day and review the last year.
